Terms of use

Last updated: July 19, 2026

By accessing cryexc or connecting a wallet, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. I built cryexc, and throughout these terms "I" means me, the developer.

Cryexc is an interface, not a broker

Cryexc is software: a charting and analytics interface that also prepares transactions on your behalf. When you trade, the order is signed in your own browser — by your wallet, or by a session trading key you authorize with it that lives only on your device and cannot withdraw funds — and sent directly to an unaffiliated third-party venue (currently Lighter and Hyperliquid).

I do not operate an exchange, a broker-dealer, or any trading venue. I never take custody of your funds, cannot access or move them, and cannot withdraw them. Cryexc only transmits instructions you authorize to venues I don't control.

The venue's terms govern your trading

Lighter and Hyperliquid are independent platforms with their own terms of service and their own restricted-jurisdiction rules. Your trading is governed by those terms — review Lighter's terms and Hyperliquid's terms before you trade.

You are solely responsible for confirming that you are eligible to use each venue and that trading is legal where you are. By connecting a wallet you represent and warrant that you are not in a restricted jurisdiction and that you comply with your local laws and each venue's restricted-region rules. Cryexc relies on this self-attestation — asked when you connect and again during each venue's setup — and does not verify your location or identity. If you are in a restricted jurisdiction, don't use the trading features.

Fees

Cryexc currently adds 0 bp — no fee of my own on your trades. You still pay the venue's own trading fees, which are set and charged by the venue, not by cryexc.

Setup may include one gasless, revocable approval that attributes your trading volume to cryexc. At the current 0 bp rate that approval costs you nothing — it only records that the terminal was used. If I ever introduce a cryexc fee, it will be disclosed and require your explicit in-app consent before it applies.

Beta software, as-is, no warranty

Cryexc is early beta software provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind. I don't guarantee it is accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. Real-time market data and order routing depend on venue APIs, WebSocket connections, and network conditions — prices shown can be stale, and orders can be delayed, rejected, or filled at a different price than the one on screen.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any losses arising from your use of cryexc — including losses from software bugs, outages, incorrect or delayed data, failed or misrouted orders, or anything the venues do. Trading perpetuals and other derivatives carries a high risk of loss, up to and including your entire balance. Nothing in cryexc is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice — every decision you make is your own.

Accepting these terms

Accessing the app or connecting a wallet means you accept these terms and confirm you meet each venue's eligibility requirements. If you don't accept them, don't connect and don't trade.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. I may update them as cryexc evolves; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
