There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics scripts, no cookies, and no tracking pixels. Cryexc does not ask you for personal data and has nowhere to store it. The one place any request of yours is recorded is the optional Full history source, described under Network connections below.
All application data (settings, watchlists, layouts, trade journal entries) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently.
The application connects directly to cryptocurrency exchange WebSocket APIs (Binance, Hyperliquid, Bybit, OKX, and others) to receive real-time market data. These are public, unauthenticated feeds. No personal information is sent to these exchanges through Cryexc.
Some features use server-side proxy routes to bypass CORS restrictions (e.g., Polymarket data, Hyperliquid order data). These proxies pass through requests without logging or storing any data.
The exception is the optional Full history source (Settings → History → Source, off by default). Its requests go through a hosted proxy that records one row per request: the market and lane requested, response size and status, whether the cache was hit, the request origin, the country reported by the CDN, and a salted hash of the IP address. The raw IP is never stored or forwarded — it is hashed with a server-side secret, so the row can count distinct users of the alpha and is useless as an identifier anywhere else. Rows live on a private server (a rolling window plus an aggregate archive) and are used only to see whether the feature is worth running. Leave the source on Live exchange and nothing is recorded.
The website loads Google Fonts for typography. Google's font privacy policy applies to that request. No other third-party scripts or analytics services are used.
If you choose to share a layout, its configuration data is stored temporarily on Cloudflare KV and accessible via a unique link. Shared layouts contain only UI layout settings — no personal data. Shared layouts can be deleted by the creator.
